It has autocomments for HTML-documents, image files, zip files, and can extract the title, artist, album title, year and comment from MPEG-files, reads description files (a standard format for file descriptions), catalogues unmapped network disks (Network Neighborhood interface) and can add descriptions for your catalogued files and catalogs

In SuperCat 4.4 there is also a duplicate file search tool so you can delete any redundant information you have stored.
